There was no discernable trace of life for almost a thousand cycles.,and yet all sites were in perfectly good shape as if no time had passed since their initial construction. Scientists of practically every relevant field were deployed - their almost immediate retreat instantly adding to the mystery.

Ancient Depot is a site in the Dust Rim region of the Zharkov system in Everspace 2. It contains an structure similar to the Ancient Structures in Everspace, along with some vertical asteroids and other smaller Ancient structures in a dense part of Zharkov's dust rings with common lightning.

There is a location challenge here to "Investigate the ancient secret." A Mainframe Expansion is received upon completion.
