Ancient Small Swarmer are a fighter-class Ancient Swarmer enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a stacked-triangle icon. All Ancient Swarmer enemies are called Ancient Swarmer in the Heads-up display.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Small Swarmer are equipped Energy Spiral weapons and have the ability to teleport and change into a meta-physical swarm-like form which makes them immune to any damage for a short time.
Strategy[]
When fighting against Ancient Swarmer, the player should always have the Hexaspatial Catalysts installed to be protected against the ambient kaion radiation and cause more damage to these enemies.
Small Swarmer do not require special armaments to be destroyed. However, they should not be attacked while in their meta-physical form, because all damage they would have taken is converted into shield energy.

The name "Ancient Small Swarmer" is used in the The Art of EVERSPACE™ 2 - Ancients and Titans DLC which contains the artwork for the Titans DLC and the Wrath of the Ancients DLC. In game, all Ancient Swarmer enemies are just called "Ancient Swarmer".
