cargo drone at Charybdis Bowl
Cargo Drones are hidden enemies in Everspace 2 that can be found in several locations and drop lots of loot when damaged and destroyed. However, they jump out quickly when attacked, so it is best to immobilize them with EMP or webbing.
To locate cargo drones, look for a distinctive red engine trail near points of interest. When up close, they will be marked on the HUD as a neutral NPC, but turn hostile (red) when attacked. They have no weaponry or defensives, but will attempt to boost away very quickly and jump out.
