This category includes the four types of ships that the player can use, selectable in the hangar pre-run. They can be upgraded with [[Perks]] before/after each run, and can be upgraded with various [[Equipment]] during and before a run. They can also be customized with three different colored sections. The first section has 16 options while the other two have 17. There are also unique style sets that can be selected (locking out color options). The [[Colonial Sentinel]] and style sets is only available if you own the [[Encounters]] expansion. See [[Ships comparison]] for an incomplete comparison between each ship. As part of the Kickstarter, certain backers could unlock a special green-themed skin/style set.
