Coil Guns are a primary weapon type in Everspace 2 that rapidly fire projectiles which instantly reach their target.

- Damage and energy-related stats of all primary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes), with exponential bases of 1.13, 1.16, and 1.14 applying to damage, energy capacity, and energy consumption, respectively.
- All standard Coil Gun variants have a chance to generate with the following type-specific modifier:
- 5% chance to disable the target's shield for 2 seconds with each hit.
