Crash and Burn is a main mission in Everspace 2.
Objectives & Walkthrough[ | ]
- Gain 300m distance to the freighter and trigger the explosion
- Dock at Ships & Supplies at Coalition Cargo Terminal
- Go to Mota Rift
- Investigate the lifesign
- Take out the targets (3)
- When in the structure tunnel, move slowly and disable mine traps to safely fly through
- Fight the bounty hunters
- Shoot down shields and use malware on locked targets (3)
- Defeat all remaining bounty hunters
- Dock at Ghost's hideout
- Visit homebase
- Go to Vesna Mining Colony
- Bring down shields of locked targets and use malware (6)
- Destroy 50% of all turrets and missile silos above ground
- Enter the underground base
- Find a way to open the door
- Look for marked "Small Opening" to pilot a drone. Move carefully and avoid the blue forcefields to make to a terminal that opens the door.
- Find a way to open the door to the access tunnel
- Steer a drone into one of the vents to cause an explosion
- Escape the underground base [0:25]
- The mission fails if you do not leave the structure in 25 seconds.

- "After Blakemore had discovered the exact location of the comet I knew that we needed to act fast in order to stop the mining fleet and prevent a new war with the Okkar.
I called Fallon Pango who referred me to an associate who goes by the name of Ghost who is in possession of a powerful malware device that would be a big help in stopping the fleet.
I managed to track down Ghost in the Drake system and he agreed to help with his malware device in person."

- Ghost and I managed to disable the mining fleet on Vesna and at the very least delay Blakemore's operations. Ghost left the scene to escort Hawke's mole, Tammy, our homebase and all went according to plan until I was overwhelmed by Roslin and a bunch of upgraded Elite Squad Fighters who appeared out of nowhere using Okkar wormhole tech. Blakemore now wants the malware reversal codes to get his fleet up and running again. Roslin seems confident to be able to get them from me.
