Cruise Missiles are a secondary weapon type in Everspace 2 that slowly tracks down a target and explodes for a massive burst of damage in a large area of effect.

- Damage stats of all secondary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes) by an exponential base of 1.13 (adds 13% of the current damage value when item level is increased by 1).
- Can only be crafted at or generated with rare rarity or higher.
- Can cause extreme (often fatal) self-damage if within 300m of the target/explosion.
- Cruise missiles have a chance to generate with a unique modifier:
- +10% damage for each second the missile flies. [+30% for all other missile weapons]
