Devotion is a primary weapon in Everspace 2, a legendary variant of the Coil Gun. It slowly fires projectiles which instantly reach their target. Compared to the standard Coil Gun, Devotion deals extremely high kinetic and energy DPS at the cost of 5% ULT charge with every shot, reduced range (-300m), greatly decreased fire rate (-3.7/s), and slightly higher energy consumption.

Notes

• Damage and energy-related stats of all primary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes), with exponential bases of 1.13, 1.16, and 1.14 applying to damage, energy capacity, and energy consumption, respectively.

Tips

• Best used on ships with fast ULT generation like the Interceptor, as they can more quickly charge the necessary energy to fire the weapon more often.
• It cannot be fired if ULT energy is depleted.
