The Equalizer is a primary weapon in Everspace 2, a variant of the Coil Gun. It rapidly fires projectiles which instantly reach their target. Compared to the standard Coil Gun, the Equalizer has an increased fire rate (+1.5/s) at the cost of reduced energy damage, range (-400m), and slightly increased energy consumption.

- Damage and energy-related stats of all primary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes), with exponential bases of 1.13, 1.16, and 1.14 applying to damage, energy capacity, and energy consumption, respectively.
- Only generates with rare rarity or higher.
- Renown level 3 (professional) rewards a Prototype Calibrated Equalizer.
