Gang Wars is a side mission in Everspace 2, the first of three missions where Adam helps the Coalition in their efforts against the rival outlaw gangs Zurilia and the Retaliators.

Objectives & Walkthrough

• Go to Letho Starport
• Go to Alpha Draco Thermal Plant
• Fly into the volcano
• Enter volcano
• Leave volcano
  • There is no point in following the shielded drones at this time. Do not attempt to do any mining or exploration as the heat is extremely damaging.
• Fly to hangar
• Hack service terminal
• Hack the terminal to release the bomb drone
• Make sure the bomb drone makes it outside
  • Stay close so that the bomb drone is within the shielded area. It will very quickly be burned and destroyed otherwise.
• Override drone
• Jump into supralight
• Return to Letho Starport to continue with Gang Wars II

Codex

1. Elek asked me to look after his children at the Coalition HQ at Letho in the Drake system.
2. The Commander of the Coalition, Ming Yun, wants me to steal a drone of an outlaw gang called 'Zurilia' from their Headquarter. She claims, that this ensures the peace in this system and therefore inherently Elek's children.
3. I visited the home of the Zurilia. They're living on a planet that is literally on fire. It's not going to be easy to get a drone out of here. The only hint I have is the inside of the volcano.
4. I entered the volcano and I saw service drones equipped with shields that can deal with the heat. I should try to find an access to control one of them.
5. I infiltrated a Hangar of the Zurilia, where I have access to their service drones inside of the volcano.
6. I managed to get control of one of the service drones. Now, I have to get one of those bomb drones out of here.
7. I found a way to release one of the bomb drones into the volcano. They lack the capacity of a heat shield, so I have to keep them nearby the service drone and escort them out of this hot mess.
8. The bomb drone got out of the volcano. It's time to override it's mainframe and send it to the Coalition HQ.
9. Against all odds, the plan worked out and the Zurilia's bomb drone was sent to the Coalition HQ. But it seems like this was only the beginning of a much bigger conflict.
