Gang Wars III is a side mission in Everspace 2the last of three missions where Adam helps the Coalition in their efforts against the rival outlaw gangs Zurilia and the Retaliators.

Objectives & Walkthrough

• Visit Coalition HQ
• Go to Quimper Belt
• Activate Radio Jammers (4)
  • Make sure you stay far away from any hostile units. The 'lock nearest target' key (may not be assigned by default) is helpful to figure out the closest enemy. Hack the terminals and wait for the dialogue to fully finish and the next objective to show before getting closer, otherwise the mission will fail.
• Defend yourself!
• Defeat the Outlaws
  • The capital ships on either side cannot be destroyed or damaged at all. Destroy enemy ships until the Outlaw red bar is reduced to zero.

Codex

1. I have to talk to Ming Yun at the Coalition HQ in Letho in the Drake system about the conflict of the two rival outlaw gangs.
2. Commander Yun doesn't believe that the two outlaw gangs will find out about how they've been deceived. I should make sure of that and have a look at the Quimper Belt were they're supposed to be fighting each other. It's me against the everyone, like so many times.
3. I arrived and both outlaw gangs sent an impressive fleet to the Quimper Belt. I have to be careful that I stay undetected. Otherwise I'm not only endagering myself, but the whole Coalition and Elek's kids.
4. There are some old radio signal emitters I can manipulate to jam the far distance signals of the fleets.
5. I reprogrammed four radio signal emitters, but their comms are still working. Time is running out. They very close finding out who was behind all this.
6. Why does it always end up like this? I knew they would find out what the Coalition was planning. Now I have to fight these fleets all by myself. This might be the end, but I won't go down without a fight!
7. Commander Yun decided to help me after all. Together we might stand a chance against the combined force of the outlaw gangs.
8. We did it! We defeated the overwhelming power of the Retaliators and Zurilia. They will need a lot of time to recover from this. Hopefully this peace will last long and Elek's children may have a bright future in the Drake system.
