Popup-Level

In Everspace 2, the player gains experience from killing enemies or completing missions, challenges, and jobs. Each level increases the base stats (not specific to the currently equipped ship) Structure, Repair, Firepower, Precision, Utility and Resistance which will give bonuses to hitpoints, damage, repairs, etc. Each level also grants a Device Upgrade Token.

Both enemies and locations have levels that will eventually scale with the player's level.

In the Early Access, there is currently a max level of 14. Each level increases each of your ratings by 20 (starting with 20 at level 1), and gives one Device upgrade token.
