Okkar Prime Sentry Drones are a drone-class Okkar Prime enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a ring with a diamond icon. They are equipped with a Beam Laser and often accompany Okkar Prime Fighter on patrols.
They can only be encountered in the Okkar homeworlds.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Okkar Prime Sentry Drones are moving slowly and become nearly stationary when attacked. The orient themselves towards the enemie and fire their Beam Laser once they comes too close.
Strategy[]
Due to their impenetrable shield that covers most of their front they are hard to hit with direct fire. Trying to fly around them for rear attacks does not work because the teleport away when an enemy is behind them. The best way to destroy them is either with indirect fire for shooting at them from afar before being detected.
