Outlaw Anti-Missile Drones are a drone-class Outlaw enemy in Everspace 2. They are uniquely identified on the heads-up display by a ring with a missile icon.

Characteristics & Behavior

Anti-Missile Drones serve as escorts for Outlaw Bombers, shooting down hostile missiles that come within their sizable range.

Strategy

Anti-Missile Drones are not capable of shooting down mines, rockets, or interception-immune missiles, and disabling/jamming conditions will temporarily shut down their ability to intercept other secondary weapon projectiles. They are also quite fragile and do not move very quickly, so sniping them at long range with a Rail Gun before moving into missile range of the main target is also a viable tactic.
