Outlaw Armor Drones are a drone-class Outlaw enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a ring with a three-layer icon.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Armor Drones follow nearby allies, emitting a yellow aura and granting bonus armor to other Outlaws via the Armor Boost condition.
Strategy[]
As the flat durability increase provided by Armor Boost is considerable, these drones should be one of the player's priority targets in protracted engagements. They are quite fragile and do not move very quickly, so sniping them at long range with a Rail Gun is a viable tactic.
