An unshielded bomb thrower
Outlaw Bomb Throwers are an Outlaw enemy in Everspace 2, one of the turret variants attached to Outlaw structures.
Strategy
Some bomb throwers are surrounded by a shield impenetrable by standard weaponry. The shield can be disabled by grabbing and throwing one of the bomb thrower's bombs right back at it, which will pass through the shield, or by ramming it with your ship. Then it can be damaged normally until its shield goes up again.
