Outlaw Detonator Drones are a drone-class Outlaw enemy in Everspace 2. They are uniquely identified on the heads-up display by a ring with an explosion icon.
Strategy[ | ]
Detonator Drones, whether pre-existing or spawned by Outlaw Drone Carriers, charge toward the player, making a distinct chime that increases in pitch and frequency the closer they get, in an attempt to set off a point-blank explosion for massive damage. If anti-armor munitions are not readily available, disabling/jamming conditions may be used to temporarily halt their self-detonation.
