Outlaw Drone Carriers are a capital ship-class Outlaw enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a diamond and triangles icon.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Drone Carriers deploy Drones and Detonator Drones for offense while relying on a squadron of Outlaw Link Drones to supply it with a hefty amount of armor hitpoints.
Strategy[]
Destroying the Link Dones will take away the armor and expose the hull of the Carrier to direct attack. The drones can easily be destroyed using Rail Gun from afar or a Flak to hit multiple drones at once.
For the special challenge of Outlaw Hunt II where you need to destroy one of these without destroying any of the drones, a combination of using Rail Guns and Scorpion Missiles is a good option.
