Sequentially alternates between three states while firing: Red increases kinetic damage by 30%, Green increases critical hit damage by 140%, and Blue increases energy damage by 30%. After 6s of constant fire, the beam engages RGB mode, applying all three bonuses at the same time, but it becomes harder to control.

RGBeam Laser is a legendary variant of the Beam Laser, a primary weapon in Everspace 2. Without any effects active, it has more DPS than standard beam lasers and greatly decreased energy consumption.

Notes

• Damage and energy-related stats of all primary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes), with exponential bases of 1.13, 1.16, and 1.14 applying to damage, energy capacity, and energy consumption, respectively.
• The beam color and sound changes as it cycles through Red, Green and Blue modes.
• When RGB mode is active the beam rapidly shifts through all three colors, but the targeting reticle randomly waves around somewhat significantly making it nearly impossible to target small enemies at maximum range.
