A mysterious vessel containing technology touched by Ancient power. The energy released by Ancient Rifts may be able to reveal its contents.

Reliquaries are rare items obtained from completing Incursions. A reliquary can be selected before an Ancient Rift to apply beneficial modifiers, known as "blessings," throughout the rift and to enhance the total loot quality of the run.

After successfully completing a rift with a reliquary meeting the minimum Lunacy requirement, an additional reliquary container is granted alongside the normal rift loot. It contains several pieces of equipment and a legendary item.

For reliquaries to be used in a rift, they must meet a minimum Lunacy level: 100, 200, 300, or 400 for normal, and 500, 600, or 700 for radiant. The lunacy requirement may also be lowered using Tears of the Mad.

They may also generate with a single equipment type (indicated with a suffix and equipment type icon), ensuring the legendary item and bonus loot in the container match that equipment type. The legendary item is determined the instant the item spawns upon completion of an Incursion, reloading a saved game to rerun a rift will not alter the reward.

Optionally they may be opened or dismantled, using Tears of the Mad.

  • Opening will yield a single legendary item at the cost of 1,000 Tears of the Mad (2,000 for radiant).
  • Dismantling will yield 100 Tears of the Mad (200 for radiant)

Blessings[]

Normal reliquaries contain a single blessing, while radiant reliquaries grant two. The second blessing on radiant reliquaries is uniquely powerful and cannot appear on normal reliquaries.

Aptitude Device cooldowns are reduced by 50%.
Boundless Grasp Gain unlimited energy orb pull range.
Celerity Killing enemies provides 30% increased stage progress and resolve.
Desperation Overload At 25% health, enemies are emp'd and receive corrosion.
Divine Strike Critical hit chance is increased by 100%. Multiplicative with the player's current critical chance, does not guarantee critical hits.
Endless Barrage Infinite secondary weapon ammo. No effect on the Bomber
Eternal Surge Infinite boost energy.
Incorruptible You are immune to all debuffs.
Power Nexus Infinite weapon energy. Also affects Secondaries on a Bomber
Power Surge 30% increased device damage.
Prosperous Secondary weapon ammo is increased by 100%. No effect on the Bomber
Sanctuary Sphere Area contains energy restore fields, repair fields, and damage buff fields. The fields are green, blue, and red, respectively
Sorrow Enemies drop 100% more Tears of the Mad.
Stasis Field Enemies within 500m are slowed down.
Untainted Passage The rift has one less stage.
Unwavering Resolve drain is reduced by 50%.

Radiant Only[]

Blessing Description Notes
Agony Drones attacking you will instantly be destroyed.
Death Ward Killing an elite enemy grants an Energy Shield (invulnerability) for 5s.
Domination An Ancient Warden is fighting by your side.
Fatal Bond Killing an enemy has a 30% chance to instantly kill another one within 500m. This effect can chain.
Inversion Incoming damage has a 10% chance to be ignored and restore shield and armor instead.
Overload You gain all of the possible passives of your ship class. Does not add exclusive passives
Purge Killing an enemy deals 2% hull damage to all other enemies. Triggers Ragnarok's destabilize effect
Rebirth Instead of dying and aborting the rift, gain a second chance and fully restore hull, armor, and shield.
Shield of Faith Allies are invulnerable.
Trinity You gain all three level 30 perks.
