There is also a special, unclassified bubble-like being (a colony of Nanobots?) that can be found randomly in later Sectors that will continuously chase any ships nearby and, when shot at, will drop Nano Bots. The being cannot be targeted, thus making homing projectile weapons useless; explosive weapons like the [[Flak Cannon]] are recommended to deal damage as the bullets will explode near the being as if it were an enemy. After taking sufficient damage, the bubble will burst into several smaller bubbles which will scatter omnidirectionally. However, should the player be too close to it when it is scattered, the bubbles will cause as much damage as Nano Bots dropped to repair your hull, resulting in a complete waste of time. It is recommended, if possible, to use G&B ships as bait before attempting to harvest nanobots from these beings.
