Retaliator Bomb Throwers are Retaliator enemies in Everspace 2, one of the turret variants attached to Retaliator structures. They slowly shoot barrel-shaped bombs at the player which disable the player's shields.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Bomb Throwers begin to throw bombs in the direction of the player as soon as they enter the Bomb Thrower's range. These bombs drift slowely forwards and detonate when close an enemy to cause hull damage and disable their shields. Contrary to all other Retaliator weapons, the bombs do not build up the Frozen condition.
Strategy[]
In contrast to the Outlaw Bomb Thrower, these bomb throwers do not have a shield but a moderate amount of armor instead. Hence, weapons with armor penetration are advantageous. Grabbing and throwing one of the bomb thrower's bombs right back at it, also causes high damage.
