Retaliator Frost Shield Drones are a drone-class Retaliator enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a ring with a three-layer icon.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Frost Shield Drones do not attack enemies. Instead, they provide an impenetrable shield in front of one nearby allied ship.
Strategy[]
Since Frost Shield Drones always stay within a close distance to the allied ship they provide the armor for and therefore only move at a slow and predictable pace, sniping them with a Rail Gun from afar is easy. Frost Shield Drones should always be targeted first to remove the buff from the enemy ship.
