Found mainly in the Drake system, as well as Khione, the Retaliators are an Outlaws-type Faction that have based their technology around the prominent ice worlds of the Drake system, which can lead their weapons to temporarily stun targets.

Many established sites within Drake were forced to supply the Colonial Fleet during the Okkar-Colonial war, but there were pockets of resistance inclined to hold on to supplies and reserves for the safety of the colonies in fear of being forgotten. The Drake System saw its own minor war across its planets and orbits, with profound ideologies to either support the war or oppose it as the driving forces behind change. Before the armistice had been established, a large organization rallied together, forming their independence from Colonial authority, to help rebuild the sapped frontier into its former glory.
After their formation, various groups of outlaws plundered their reserves across many stations, forcing the organization to become vengeful. As such, the organization named themselves the Phantom Retaliators with the goal of righting every wrong done to their people, tenfold.
The Coalition was able to push back the Phantom Retaliators within the DMZ for a short time, although their numbers continue to rise, and there are suspicions that the gang is regrouping to enact revenge. Their latest armaments utilize the resources within Drake's unique ice formations to enhance temperature-defying effects to onboard flight systems.
General Info[]
Culturally the polar opposite of Zurilia, the Retaliators are all about ice. All of their weapons build up the Frozen Condition which will stun the player's ship for a few seconds. Their ships tend to be somewhat slower, and compared to Zurilia they do not do as much damage. They also tend to talk with jargon similar to that of sea pirates.
They are in a perpetual war with Zurilia.
