Nowadays, the area is notorious for its countless smuggling routes and pockets - riddling "Smugglers' Wheel" with holes like a Solean dairy product.

Sato Orbit is a site in the Smuggler's Wheel region of the Union system in Everspace 2.

A sparse cluster of massive asteroids, each housing multiple Outlaw installations. The area's layout and structures suggest a long history of unauthorized operations.

The side mission Spelunking for Madcaps features prominently at this location. Running the Wheel and The Magic of Umami also include a brief segment here.

	1	Secure Container	Located in right tunnel (B) inside the asteroid, requires an Energy Sphere to open. The Energy Sphere Dispenser (A) can be found along the same tunnel.
	2	Secure Container	Located in the left tunnel (C) inside the asteroid along the bottom of an Outlaw installation, shoot the buttons in sequence to open.
	3	Bulletproof Container	Located beyond the radiation field in a room behind the Outlaw installation from Secret 2.
	4	Secure Container	Located inside the exterior Outlaw base Structure, destroy the destructible panel (D) to enter and then shoot the buttons in sequence to open. Contains a Mainframe Component.
	5	Bulletproof Container	Located inside a sealed compartment of an asteroid where Maddocks is hiding at the very outer perimeter of the site and is only accessible after a segment of The Magic of Umami has sufficiently progressed (defeat the first wave of Outlaws).
