The Shield ST is a passive device in Everspace, exclusive to the Colonial Sentinel. The "ST" stands for "Superior Titanium". Essentially the opposite of the Shield XC, the Shield ST has a high hitpoint value at the cost of a low recharge rate, long recharge delay, and long shutdown duration. It has three variants, with the Shield ST Mk2 and Shield ST Mk3 being upgraded versions of the base Shield ST.
