The Shield ST module is a variant of the standard Shield in Everspace 2. It has increased capacity and recharge speed (+75%) at the cost of much longer recharge delay and shutdown duration.

- For notes on passive effects, variants, and modifiers, see Shields.
- The long shutdown duration can be mitigated slightly by using the EMP Generator's Shield Surge mode after being depleted. This does not prematurely end the shutdown duration, but will provide some backup shields to prevent armor & hull damage while the shield is in shutdown.
