A Stinger is a subclass of light fighter class ship in Everspace 2 that becomes more powerful for a time after using a device.

Device Master: Gain +1 to all device levels. Also, using a device powers an additional primary hardpoint for 5s.

Ultimate Ability (ULT)[ | ]

Void Swarm: Instantly resets all device cooldowns and releases a huge swarm of aggressive micro-bots that will consume everything in their way, prioritizing the locked target. Upon return, they will restore hull and armor based on the total damage dealt.

The following passive effects are currently available for Stingers. A ship can only have one of the two exclusive passives.

  • 20% reduced cooldowns for support devices.
  • 20% reduced cooldowns for warfare devices.
  • Void Swarm radius increased by 25%
  • Become cloaked for 5s after shield is depleted.
  • Using a device restores 15% shields.
  • While the third hardpoint is active, gain 33% reduced weapon energy consumption.
  • Using a device restores 25% boost energy.
  • 25% increased corrosion damage. [Exclusive]
  • 25% increased EMP duration. [Exclusive]
