A subroutine hologram found in a derelict colonial station.

Subroutines are a type of enhancement in Everspace. They are unlocked by finding them in derelict Colonial Stations through the use of an Access Key. Not all stations have them, however. They are usually found along with a Special Tech Container. In some cases, the player can look through cracks in the walls of the station and look to see if the subroutine's hologram is there. Collecting all sixteen base-game subroutines awards the Mr. Robot achievement. The seventeenth subroutine, Sensor Jamming, is a Kickstarter Backer exclusive and does not prevent getting the achievement. The list below lists them in the order that they are in the in-game enhancement screen.

Navigation
Saves 0% to 50% of fuel when jumping.
Increases the jump charge duration and cooldown by 100%.
