The Convert is a side mission in Everspace 2. Adam meets Imogen at the gate to Khaït Nebula and is tasked with rescuing her father, Bernard, who was taken by the Redeemers. Unlocks the Detoxification follow-up side mission. The beginning of this mission coincides with the beginning of X Marks the Spot.

Codex

1. I met these lunatics who call themselves Redeemers. They attacked me right away, but I could fight them off. After that I met this woman called Imogen. She claims that her father was taken by these guys.
   If I want to help her and him, I need to enter Khaït Nebula.
2. HIVE traced the ship that carries Imogen's father. I can follow the signal to Immaculate Redemption.
3. There's a strange ritual going on. It looks like a lot of unknown energy is fired at the vessel which carries Bernard. This can't be good. I should put a stop to this.
4. I interrupted the Redeemer's ritual. I don't know if It was too late for Bernard.
5. Imogen's father is held in the Redeemer's station at Rhaïm Gate. They installed heavy defenses, so freeing him won't be an easy task.
6. The Redeemers really are capable of controlling Ancient Wardens. They released one of them and it doesn't look peaceful.
7. I bested their Warden, however, I wasn't able to destroy it. The Redeemers have taken it into their custody again.
8. I have freed Imogen's father, but he was unconscious when we found him. She took him back to a research station where he worked.
