The Pigeon's Stare is a legendary variant of the Beam Laser, a primary weapon in Everspace 2. Compared to the standard Beam Laser, it has slightly decreased range (-100m), and higher DPS.

Notes

• Damage and energy-related stats of all primary weapons scale exponentially with item level (including bonus levels from rarities and prefixes), with exponential bases of 1.13, 1.16, and 1.14 applying to damage, energy capacity, and energy consumption, respectively.
• The overload effect appears to affect each hardpoint individually. With careful aiming, one beam can be overloaded instead of all.
• There is a delay of 300ms before the overload effect is reset, so it is possible to quickly switch between different targets (between an Outlaw Destroyer and its turrets, for example) without losing the boost.
• Rewarded upon completion of the Gang Wars III side mission.
