Toxic Revenger is a legendary variant of the standard Shield module in Everspace 2. It has +45% more recharge speed and a shorter shutdown duration at the cost of slightly reduced capacity. It adds Corrosion debuffs to primary weapon shots based on shield damage taken.

The Toxic Revenger appears to be a reference to The Toxic Avenger, a film in which a janitor is transformed into a superhero by toxic waste. The reference likely points to the 1984 original, as the 2023 remake premiered after this module was added to the game.
