Twin Stations is a side mission in Everspace 2.
Adam is tasked by the Researcher to check on the sister station located in Union's Gauntlet, who were working on research "vital in so many ways you wouldn't understand".
Walkthrough[ | ]
Before departing, check the station's shop and general area for any items/resources you may need. A few secrets are easy to find before (or after) claiming the mission.
Adam cannot access Union until the Ceto Ghost Hunt mission is completed, but Twin Stations can be claimed at any time after completing The Edge of the Universe.
After accessing Union, head towards The Gauntlet where the second station is located. Locate the station and open the gate by inserting a power core into the nearby socket. A dispenser can be found to the right of the gate, opposite of the socket.
Two generators must be destroyed to open the main gate, and can be found near the power core socket and dispenser (one near each).
After opening the gate, Adam must power the Secure Container inside to get the Hydra Sample mission item and complete the mission after returning it to the scientist.
After giving the sample to the researcher, he will express his gratitude towards Adam and reward him with experience and Credits.

- A nervous and overworked scientist asked me to investigate the radio silence at an affiliated research station.

- A Ceto research station had lost contact with its sister station in another system. When I reached the place, it was in shambles. I retrieved what I could from their research and returned it to the scientists in Ceto.
