v0.6.20667 was a minor update to Everspace 2 that released on August 25th, 2021 that allowed players to continue their demo save should they purchase the full game.

Alongside this update, a lengthy message from the developers to the community was released with some teaser screenshots of the upcoming Khaït Nebula system update, which can be found here.

Dev Notes

We've just released a small update for Everspace 2 which only includes one single change.

And in case you are wondering what the demo version looks like (note that you can only download the demo version if you don't already own the full version), it starts just like the full version but there is a level cap of 5 and only the first few missions and locations are available.
