Visions of Decay is a legendary variant of the Sensor module in Everspace 2 that greatly increases the effectiveness of the Corrosion Injector device.

Corrosion Injector's Mercy Kill mode will only trigger with on the initial enemy targeted, not all three.
Multiple corrosion stacks can be more easily applied using Visions of Decay combined with Mercy Kill.
