Found mainly in the Drake system, Zurilia are an Outlaws-like Faction of zealous bandits who have built their technology around the prominent lava fields and worlds within Drake, enhancing their weapons with heavy heat.

Towards the end of the Okkar-Colonial war, many civilian operatives were stretched thin to maintain a steady supply chain for the Colonial fleet. The Drake system was hit hard by this attrition, though many remained loyal to the Colonial's cause to end the Okkar threat. Once news spread of a treaty to be made with the Okkar, these loyal groups collectively formed into Zurilia to stand against sympathizers of the demlilitarization across the Cluster, including other factions remaining in the Drake System that had not continued supporting the Colonial's war efforts. Zurilia's influence has enveloped other pockets of malice-driven Colonials to destroy the Okkar once and for all. However, system-wide gang wars and denied access out of the Drake system have prevented this overzealous conquest. The fiery lava fields within Drake fuel Zurilia weaponry, granting them access to alarmingly immense heat within their ranks that can penetrate the most defensible armor.

Zurilia fly ships fairly similar in form and functions to the Outlaws but they tend to be tougher and have a higher damage output. Every single one of their weapons also builds up the Scorching Condition, as do many ambient environmental aspects within their home base territories, which can eventually Overheat some of your equipment pieces and reduce their effectiveness.
They are in a perpetual war with the Retaliators.
