Zurilia Bombers are a heavy cruiser-class Zurilia enemy in Everspace 2. They are identified on the heads-up display by a twin-triangle icon. Compared to the Outlaw Bomber, they have a higher amount of shield but a lower amount of armor.
Characteristics & Behavior[]
Bombers fire multiple pairs of Homing Scorching Missiles at regular intervals and are also equipped with Scorching Scatter Guns for close-range combat. They try to keep their distance to the player to keep firing their Missiles. They are not accompanied by shield drones, but are able to temporarily generate an impenetrable shield in front of them on their own.
All weapons from Zurilia Bombers build up the Scorching condition.
Strategy[]
Bombers are most vulnerable while shooting a barrage of missiles because they need to disable their front shield to do so. Weapons with a high range are recommended to ensure that the bomber keeps shooting its missiles and not switch to the Scorching Scatter Guns when close to the enemy. Weapons with high energy damage are recommended to quickly destroy this enemy.
The Scorching Condition form the Missiles stack up quickly, so you should try to avoid getting hit be them to not get your weapons disabled for a short time.
